How to prepare a cup of Cacao:

Heat up 4-6 oz of water or milk until it's hot but not boiling. Pour the liquid over the Cacao and stir slowly, letting it melt.

Use a handheld electric frother or blender to mix the Cacao completely until it's smooth and thick. Take your time with it as the preparation is part of the ritual.

For a gentle daily cup, use a 1/2 oz of Cacao. For ceremony, use a more generous portion of 1-1.5 oz for a full-bodied and strong cup. A pinch of sea salt can deepen the flavor, and a little honey can soften the edges, but it’s just as powerful communed with no additional flavors.
