Hapé 101 Virtual Workshop 10/17/24

This 3.5 hour workshop is intended to help you grow roots of knowledge, wisdom, and techniques for a grounded Hapé practice. 

In this intentional journey together, you will:

༶ understand the basics of Hapé (how it’s made, where it comes from, its uses, and energy it carries) 

༶ learn about the spirit of Tobacco

༶ be inspired to approach Hapé as a student

༶ practice how to properly serve yourself Hapé

༶ sit +surrender to the energy of the medicine in a community Hapé sit

No matter where you are on your path with sacred Hapé, there are gems of wisdom in this offering for everyone. 

Our journey contains 2 parts: a lecture/discussion followed by a communal Hapé sit (20 min break in between). In the 2nd part, the group will be led through a meditation, applying the medicine with the self-serving techniques learned.

You have the option of receiving a Hapé Kit (1 wooden kuripe & 2 Hapé samples- intuitively chosen) with your ticket. 

If you already have Hapé and a Kuripe, you can purchase a ticket without the kit.

*Disclaimer: The way I teach about Hapé is informed by 5 years of practice, study, research, real life experience serving the medicine in ceremony and 1 on 1, hearing people’s stories + experiences, and my own relationship with the medicine spirit. The way I share about this medicine is personal to me and I do not represent any tribe in particular from which this medicine comes from. Please know this medicine is extremely profound and rooted in indigenous Amazonian traditional ways; the best way to learn about those ways is to go directly to the jungle and learn from the original peoples.
